How to Make Your Android’s Battery Last Longer

Extending the battery life of your Android device is important to improve your experience and ensure it stays charged all day long. Here are some great ways to extend the battery life of your Android phone:

1. Change the screen brightness and timeout

Reduce the screen brightness: The screen is one of the components that consume the most power. Lower the screen brightness until it is comfortable. High brightness will drain the battery faster.
Shorten screen timeout: Make the screen turn off faster after a certain period of use. Reducing screen breaks can save a lot of battery power.

2. Use energy saving mode

Most Android phones have a power saving mode that reduces screen brightness, limits background data, and changes other settings to extend battery life. Enable this mode if you know you will be away from the charger for an extended period of time.

3. Remove background data

Limit an app’s background data: Some apps use data when not in use, which can drain your battery. You can set a limit on the amount of background data each app can use in the settings.
